News on Letters of Authorization:
There is an update on Letter of Authorization (LOAs). It used to be only a maximum 3 year duration with annual ping if you wish it to continue. Now we can do up to 7 year durations with annual ping if you wish it to continue.
Contrary to what has been published elsewhere, We have not retired! We still provide service for our commercial customers.
GLR Services:
GLR is a SAM (System for Award Management) former CCR (Central Contractors Registry) for US Government and is a woman owned small business.
Umler Upload and Reporting Mark Management:
We are currently managing reporting marks almost 50 clients, with a fleet of more than 3,500 units. We can upload your equipment or correct the entries that are already there under your reporting mark.
Temporary Umler Registration
GLR offers temporary Umler Registration for equipment making a "one time move", such as going to shop for a major rebuild after purchase, or even scrapping. GLR can also provide small fleet services.
Engineering:
We have on staff a Mechanical Engineer full time. GLR can assist you in planning project and getting your plans on paper or digitally. Plan first! It saves time and money in the long run.
Inspection:
Pre-purchase, pre-insurance, or project planning. An inspection can assure that the equipment you want to purchase is exactly what you think it is or that your project will go as planned.
Above is an example of equipment movement arranged through GLR. In this case, the loco moved to shop and then to port for export.
Through working agreements, Logistical Support is available to move your equipment and air brake services are available.
