1950 CCF build Parlor/Lounge
This smooth riding light weight all welded body car was built as a double vestibule 60 seat coach for CNR, in fact third from the last single level car with 6 wheel trucks.
When received this car had no interior and no windows. The car is partially converted to a 14 seat parlor, 16 spaces at 4 tables and the lounge section 21 space are to be completed.
The parlor is laid out in the middle section with pedestal mounted, swiveling, arm chairs. The table section (was to have a galley there) is in the women's lavatory end and has 4 booths with lift up seats for storage. The men's lavatory end is gutted. The car is fully equipped with MR5500 double pane windows, ABDW-P or PS68 brakes, and AP Size D (51/2 x 10) grease bearings.
